Review of Identity Thief (2013) by Adam G — 21 Apr 2014
Coming into this movie, I had fairly high expectations for Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, however I left a bit disappointed for the lack of "laugh out loud" scenes that I expected. After seeing the trailer and commercials, I basically had seen all of the hilarious scenes from the movie.
I did, however, appreciate the touching emotional scenes in the movie that turned this film from a "stupid" comedy into a decent movie. I may not have laughed as much as I anticipated, but I enjoyed this movie in the end.
