Review of Identity Thief (2013) by Aaron B — 29 Dec 2014
Being a fan of Horrible Bosses, I was looking forward to another Seth Gordon/Jason Bateman team-up. With this excitement came very high expectations. Even though Bateman was great (as usual), the film often tried to mix action into the tired road trip genre, which could've been used to benefit it, but instead left the final product an uneven mess.
This being said, there are occasionally funny moments, mostly due to the chemistry of the two leads and the surprising amount of cameos.
