Review of Identity Thief (2013) by Jin T — 17 Sep 2015
I'm not a fan of Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. The comedy style that they do is not my cup of tea and I didn't really enjoy the movie. There was a few interesting moments but that was it.
Although, I gotta say the character development is actually pretty good and the story is not that bad. Only lacking is the antagonists who were tracking down Diana. But however, Robert Patrick, which I think he's a good actor, did a good job in this movie.
His scene in the hair salon was outstanding. Amanda Peet's character seems to be a stand-in but her role in the movie did well. This movie reminds me of Due Date and has its similarities except Due Date is more funnier because I like Zach Galifanakis's comedy style.
If you are a fan of Jason Bateman and Melissa Mcarthy then you'll probably like this movie. The duo did a good job in this movie and nevertheless, is a decent comedy movie.
