That's not possible. I was standing right there. I saw what happened. We all saw what happened.

A neo-noir thriller that will have you guessing from start to finish.

The Story: Ten strangers are stranded in a hotel on a stormy night. As they night goes on, people start dying one by one. Each of the strangers has a bit of back story to them as well. To be perfectly honest each character could very well hold their own in separate films. They're just that interesting. In fact by the end of the film you might actually wish that some of the characters were in other films centered completely around them. It's a great murder mystery oozing with style and character.

The Cast: John Cusack, Ray Liotta, Amanda Pete... These aren't the only actors of course there's others that make the story but these are the three heavy hitters. Each actor plays the parts with such precision that it's hard to imagine the film being anything better without any given one of them. And like I said before each character could really stand on their own and be in completely separate movies. And if you watch Identity, you'll really want to know more about them. You'll wonder who they are, where they came from, and how they actually end up where they are, both physically and psychologically. From an acting standpoint they really make you believe, and from a story telling standpoint you'll really believe as well. It's the combination of acting and story that really make this one stand out. John Cusack and Ray Liotta really make an impact on the viewer, their presence in this is so powerful that you'll love to love John Cusack and love to hate the Ray Liotta. You'll feel for John C. McGinley and his dying wife. And you might not really know what to think of Amanda Pete when you first see her. It's the mystery of the characters and not completely knowing them that really drives this. A powerful cast that delivers even more powerful performances.

One to Five Scale: 4.

It moves fast and gives you what you want, mystery, suspense, drama, action, and great characters. It might throw you off a little when you start watching it though as the story kind of skips around, but once you get into it you're in for good. It will stay in your mind for a long long time and leave you wanting more.
