Review of Identity (2003) by Lazara C — 28 Aug 2012
The beginning of the film just made it hard for me to take seriously for some reason, maybe it was the way the dialogue begins. Its like a typical horror story with thunderstorm, accidents happens, serial killer and a bunch of strangers get stranded in one place. It has already been done multiple times, but since I saw the ratings I decided to give this movie a go. It started out alright, trying to find out who was the killer but instead it made me burst out laughing from the dialogue, scenes and the acting. I couldn't take this film very seriously anymore because it didn't feel suspenseful. Three good actors in the film and the rest were mediocre, which is one of the reasons why I found it funny.
It had a twist at the ending but it truly wasn't that surprising, it has already been done a serial killer with multiple personalities with psychological problems were the therapist is trying to help me.
