This movie was surprisingly uplifting. Some other viewers mentioned that they thought the characters were caricatures. I think this reviewer's missed the point of comedy., comedy uses caricatures to reveal bigger truths.
This is the movie about finding love both within your relationship with the significant other and with your children. I think it's succeeded on that level. There are some funny bits with Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan.
It was nice to see Jake McDorman after his run in Limitless.
