Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Colby P — 22 Oct 2009
One of the films I put on in order to sleep but that unexpectedly woke me up with adrenaline rushes. Torture porn, or gorno, or whatever, is my favorite horror genre and this film is probably the prime example.
It's Miike's best that I've seen - characters make up the film, the violence is aptly shocking, and I'm pretty sure it's rewatchable.
