Disappointingly short on action, and it takes a terribly long time to get going. I dropped off before the first exciting set piece (involving a faulty torpedo tube) and had to rewind to see what I'd missed.
McGoohan and Borgnine are every bit as watchable as you'd expect, but the whole enterprise looks and feels much MUCH older than a 1968 effort.
