Review of Ice Princess (2005) by Jack C — 03 Feb 2009
From the producers of "The Princess Diaries" comes Walt Disney's "Ice Princess" [NOTE: No actual princesses were used in the making of this film]. Oh no way can the super geeky physics girl became a star in the ultra-competitive, super bitchy world of junior figure skating.
She's not going to teach them how to apply physics to life and skating, and she is most certainly not going to fall for the hot ice rink cleaner, who also happens to be her coach's son! Except she only flipping does all those things in this film.
"Ice Princess" is pretty good fun. It's predictable and flat but it's better than "The Perfect Man" so that's a good thing.
