What an excellent war film - it has to be one of my all time favourites. This really sums up everything about what it means to be British - alcoholic, vulnerable yet strong and compassionate towards your enemies.
Have a cold beer waiting on ice for the end of the film and relish it. Still cuts it as a great film even for todays technicolour saturated age.
