Review of Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) by Crystal W — 13 May 2012
The faithful herd of colourful characters are back in the 'Ice Age' sequel. Taking a global warming slant to the story glaciers of ice are breaking apart and melting causing pressure of water against a frozen 'dam' and threatening the habitants.
Years on the quality of visuals is better than the first run, better fur and a cleaner look. This story introduces us to 'Ellie' a female mammoth and her two possum companions who join the group as well as all sorts of extra new faces.
Story pace felt a little slow, was amusing enough though.
