Although it is still funny (mostly because of the lovable, clumsy little squirrel chasing this precious nut, and the brilliant Sid), it lost most of its charm and became repetitive. The adventures of a bizarre group of now-extinct friends aren't that engaging and hilarious any more.
The animation is still beautiful, the voiceovers are great, and the energy is in action, but Ice Age 2: The Meltdown doesn't invite with its unfriendly narrative.
