Review of Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) by Lucas B — 31 Dec 2012

The characters really carry this film through. It doesn't feel as a slick as it could and it feels quite predictable but it has some really good laughs and the character of Scratch remains a wonderfully (almost) satirical view on how for some people, everything just has to go the wrong way.

Ellie's character doesn't add much to the film but her loveable sidekicks more than make up for the enthusiasm she fails to drum up. Watch it with kids if you really need an excuse.
