Review of Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) by David B — 23 Jan 2013
As much as I like the Ice Age films, I'd have to admit this is the worst in the series. The script was very weak as the dialog felt and sounded like a chore and really sloppy. The plot was very pointless, trying to find another excuse to get the charming characters back together again, along with some new characters who didn't really click and actually felt out of place.
The animation was ok but felt less colouful than the last three, like it was almost dull. The voice acting were once again good but never really got to show off, again, just like the last films. The best thing about this film is of course Scrat, ironically the part of the film that doesn't have dialog were the most enjoyable and best scenes and really should just do a film about Scrat himself.
If you've watched the others then give it a try but you won't be suprised and you'll just feel that it's getting a little stale. Kids will like it or be bored with it, adults will find it boring.
