Ugh, how to start this one? I liked previous installments of Ice Age. Granted, I think the squirrel is the best part of it all, but in my memory at least Ice Age through Ice Age 3 were slightly entertaining.

This one is more of the same old. But then without any really funny moments or jokes that go over the heads of the core audience. So what you're left with, is a pretty predictable and utterly boring story that makes you wish the obligatory happy ending waltzes in at around the 40 minute mark instead of the 90th minute.

With a story like this, you get to notice stuff that never bothered you before. Like the atrocious sub-plot of Manny's 'teenage' daughter being rebellious or the ridiculous hairdo's that the mammoths have, just to name a few. It's unfortunate, but I guess the story couldn't captivate me enough.

Pros: Some funny moments, the squirrel stays funny.

Cons: Seriously boring for adults.

Verdict: Meh.
