Utterly dire and forgettable. I didn't have high hopes for this film as the previous outings had felt like a step too far, but it failed to live up to even my lowest expectations. The exploits of the squirrel thing in pursuit of the nut have slid into the realms of the unwell mind.

My four-year-old could have come up with a more cohesive plot. And to be honest I can't remember a thing about what the other characters were doing. Either I cared so little for them or my mind has erased the painful memory of sitting through this waste of time.

If you're given a choice between this film and watching paint dry go for the paint option every time.
