Review of Ice Age: Collision Course (2016) by Anson H — 29 Jul 2017
This movie is not as bad as everyone thinks. First of all the animation is stupendous, but I feel like the main characters of Manny, Diego, Sid, Ellie, and Shira were all poorly acted and dumb. Regarding the new characters, I didn't like the Dino birds or Julien but the characters from geo-topia are really good and funny.
Granny is back and she was funny but the young version of her is creepy and ugly. But by far the best part of this movie is the fact that Buck is back and he is as hilarious as ever! We get to look into bucks psyche, and inside is Neil de grasse weasel, a crazy scientist, and a Dalek type robot.
He almost dies trying to save a baby pumpkin which he names Bronwyn (like in miss peregrines) and geo-topia is basically a loop where they stay young and when the place is destroyed the age forward like in miss peregrines.
And strangely enough, Peaches isn't annoying, I actually felt kinda bad for her. And this has by far the best Scrat slapstick ever. Over all very funny, it has quite a few dumb moments but it's definitely better then the 4th one.
