Review of Ice Age (2002) by Dakota G — 24 Feb 2011
Ray Romano voicing a mammoth? Perfect. Ice Age is as entertaining as a talking mammoth, sloth, and a sabertooth tiger with a lost kid would be. I remember discussing this movie with kids in my bible study group, always talking about the scene with the dirty diaper on Sid's face, seems all kids ever love to see are things that come out of you.
As a kid, I enjoyed this movie, I always liked Diego because he was tough and dangerous, but rewatching it over the years, it starts to get about as dull as the ice they walk on half the movie, but not to the point where it's a bad movie.
This movie has a lot of heart and soul poured into it, but it never gave me that good feeling I get from watching a quality movie, as Shrek had on me. I recommend this film for the whole family, but mostly the kids.
