Excellent film. Ice Age is hilarious and Sid is the best part of it! He is my favorite character in this movie because he's so hilarious! Ray Romano perfectly suits the voice of Manfred. John Leguizamo is great, perfect, and funny as the voice of Sid. He made that role! Denis Leary is perfect as the voice of Diego. The story is so good. It's a funny story of how a mammoth, sloth, and a saber-toothed tiger all wound up together and eventually form an unlikely friendship and the weirdest herb ever. The 3 of them are outcasts of their own species. Manny is the only mammoth seen in the entire film. Sid is a sloth who is abandoned by his own family (and according to him, his whole family abandons him every year). Diego is a saber-toothed tiger and is part of a herd of saber-toothed tigers that are on a mission to kidnap a human baby boy from their family so that his boss tiger can eat it. This movie does have some pretty daring and dark elements in it that make it seem so special compared to most other family-friendly PG 3-D animated films. So the tigers try to kidnap the human baby and they fight off humans with spears. They end up losing the baby when the mother decides to jump down the waterfall while she held the baby in her arms when she was corned by Diego. Sid wakes up to find out that his entire family abandoned him like they do every year. I always laugh at the part where he asks "Uncle Fungus"? when he's looking at all the branches from the tree where he and his sloth family members sleep on. An armadillo takes a dump on the ground next to Sid's tree home and Sid accidentally steps on the armadillo shit. He shakes the armadillo shit off his feet near a couple of rhinos and their salad. He accidentally dirties their salad and pissed the rhinos off. Sid runs away from the rhinos and accidentally bumps into Manny, That's how they first met each other. Kinda cliched though, but amusing. The funny part is where Sid tries to throw a rock at the rhinos, but when he throws it, he ends up missing them. Then he goes "You were bluffing, right"? Manny responds "Yeah". The rhinos charge to kill Sid. Manny tosses them away with his tusks. Sid follows Manny and they see the human mother in the river after jumping off the cliff. She puts her baby on the ground on the land. She suddenly just disappears. They both decide to take care of the baby. They meet Diego who is secretly on a mission from his herd to kidnap the baby. Diego eventually gets attached to Manny, Sid, and the baby. In the third act, when they're in the snowy, frozen tundra, he reveals to them that he set them up so he can kidnap the baby. He helps come up with a plan to evade and overcome the tigers that are on the hunt for the baby. Manny ends up killing the boss tiger by hitting him into a cave with icicles that fall on him and kill him. The other tigers run away in fear of death of their leader. Diego gets injured during his and Manny's fight against the tigers. Manny and Sid thought he was dead and hell, even I thought he was dead the first time I watched this movie. He was thought to be dead until after Manny and Sid (really actually Manny) return the baby back to his father. When the humans walk away with the baby, the baby sees a glimpse of Diego in the cave alive. I was so glad to see him alive. So the three of them (Manny, Sid, and Diego) all become friends and a herd. The movie has a post credits scene with the squirrel frozen and losing his acorn. He somehow causes a volcano to erupt which is pretty funny. The squirrel is so stupid that he's funny.

Rating: 7.6/10.
