Review of I Walked with a Zombie (1943) by David U — 24 Jan 2007

When I observed this film, I expected a film of "B", which I saw were a film marvelously written and acted. It arrives not knowing that Jessica must quote it "a mental case". The scene where Betsy extremely takes Jessica with the voodoo "at the house" is one of the scenes more eeriest and most alarming that I never have the scene.

I like all films of Lewton but this is held above the rest because a true chief of work of him is kind.
