Review of I Walked with a Zombie (1943) by Avenged Angel — 19 Jun 2009
A great atmospheric piece of film making. When a Canadian nurse is sent to the West Indies to care for a sick woman her optimism is soon destroyed by the sick woman's husband. The nurse is soon discovers a love tragedy and a family secret curse.
This film is a classic tale in horror mixing medicine and supernatural elements to leave it up to the viewers to decide what is real and what is not. A good late night movie to enjoy classic period of movie making.
