Review of I Vitelloni (1953) by Bobby B — 05 Jun 2009
Wonderful early effort from Fellini, showcasing his eye for humour, character, romance, tragedy and place. the characters and town are never anything less than fully realised and alive, and their trials and tribulations are recognisable to any young person from a small town.
and that closing sequence... breathtaking.
