I, Tonya.
All the figure skating clips and the whole "incident" of which she was accused of is shot stunningly dreadful and beautiful at the same time; it was well shot, great D.O.P. and everything and most importantly acted out brilliantly. I, Tonya is filled with these amazing sequences which seems like a beautiful poetry to all the biographical genre movie who rarely gets it to-the-point and right for it focuses on the target after its first act which was basically prepping the characters for the audience in just the most hilarious way possible. Margot Robbie puts all of her chips into it which is clearly visible on her figure skating skills and also the last mirror scene, is just pure talent. Allison Janney and Sebastian Stan's support is strong and reliable and so is Paul Walter Hauser; he is hilarious in it. Craig's amusing way to project this not-so-funny story in a light humor tone (especially when the actors talk to the audience) is something familiar from American Made and it worked pretty good there and it does here too. I, Tonya stands alone in this genre just like Hacksaw Ridge as it focuses more on content, odd characters and just pure entertainment.
