Review of I, Tonya (2017) by David C — 09 Dec 2017
Someone explain to me why humor is an appropriate tone for a story about a gifted but abused child who lost her entire career because, in an attempt to escape her childhood abuser, marries a myopic, domineering, domestic abuser.
It's a tragic story that encourages the audience to laugh at said tragedy, and I find that repulsive.
