A contrived, condescending & tacky biopic. It mocks domestic violence to give its audience a cheap laugh, & poor people in the most condescending fashion. It fools its audience into empathizing with Harding, *a criminal!*.
Janney steals the show as LaVona Golden, but her performance is very one-dimensional.
