Review of I, Tonya (2017) by Fabian J — 26 Jan 2018
If light on skating and the dedication required in terms of technique and choreography, I,Tonya illustrates with brio, wit and charm the 'bankruptcy' of Tonya Harding's eccentric life. Superbly played by Margo Robbie and Allison Janney as her mother, the film is smartly directed, sharply written and doesn't shy away from the serious issues of spousal abuse and the rampant corruption in sport.
