Apparently one of the goals of this movie was to show the more human side of Tonya Harding, and make her seem a bit more relateable. It had the opposite effect on me, I think I hate the white-trash piece of garbage more than I did before seeing the movie.
It is very well made, however, and excellent work from Margot Robbie, Sebastian Stan and Allison Janney carry this film up to greater heights than it's subject could ever achieve.
