Review of I, Tonya (2017) by Noah H — 24 Apr 2018
I, Tonya is a very good movie, with a great based-on-real-events story. Margot Robbie does a fantastic job portraying Tonya Harding and she would have deserved the Oscar, which in the end went to Frances McDormand for Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri which I have personally jet to see. Sebastian Stan also portrayed his character well and Allison Janney even got an Oscar for her part.
The Way the story was told was very good, because that way you can really relate to the figures and can understand their actions. Also with their way of story telling you can build up a strong connection to the protagonists.
In the end there isn't much to say, because if you film a story, that already happened you have to stick to the facts and can't change anything but what they could do, they did great.
