Review of I Think We're Alone Now (2008) by Joel C — 27 Jul 2008
A documentary about two people obsessed with 80s pop star Tiffany. The film was actually pretty hard to watch - one of the guys was a delusional time-travel enthusiast who was convinced that Tiffany was his best friend, and that she had travelled through time at various points to intervene in his life.
The other was a lonely, intersexed person living in a woman, but looking more like a man, who was convinced that s/he and Tiffany were destined to be together. Both people lived incredibly sad lives, although this didn't stop a bunch of douchebags next to me from laughing all the way through the film.
Actually, the biggest revelation found in this film is that there are people who aren't mentally ill who are still obsessed with Tiffany.
