I'm a fan of the 1977 flick because I just love a good bloody revenge story:) Watching the new version was good, the beginning wasn't as brutal as the rape scene in the first film but brutal enough to add to my enjoyment of the torture scenes to come.
..It's a nice change to see a female victim reach a level of complete psychopathic determination to get murderous revenge on 5 pieces of human waste. She was just a writer not a retired cop, cia, or black ops victim.
...makes her behavior even more extreme to me.
