Another remake that I never saw the original for, so do not have anything to judge it against. However I can compare it with the remake of Last House on the Left. Compared to this film, LHOTL was a fairy story with unicorns and smiley faces.
I Spit on Your Grave is brutal and horrific and extremely difficult to watch or stomach. However there is some light at the tunnel in the form of vengeance, which had me secretly nodding my head in approval.
Definitely not one for the whole family, but I thought it was pretty good.
