Another pointless and needless remake. It has the advantage of a bigger budget and technology to appear slicker than the original but then the roughness of the original is part of the appeal of its and its genre ilk.
We now have a generic rape revenge/torture porn that does not really have anything new to add other than that the victim has a keen eye for spectacular and inventive means of disposing of the scum.
