Review of I Smile Back (2015) by Luke M — 11 Dec 2015
It's not perfect but a respectable character study and acting showcase for Sarah Silverman. Many could compare this to last year's Cake that was a similar narrative of a comedic actress diving into really dark waters on the topics of addiction and tragedy.
She really does shine here as does the aways wonderful Josh Charles. It doesn't particularly have anything new to say about addiction but this is worth watching for Charles and Silverman's performances.
