Review of I Sell the Dead (2008) by Nelson P — 13 May 2010
Dumb, somewhat fun Burke and Hare variation that fills time until Landis' Pegg/Serkis version. It's no Doctor and the Devils, but isn't trying to be, aside from the derivative soundtrack. The opening credits establish more of an EC horror vibe, and after some brief setup we get a good amount of fun interplay b/w Monaghan, Perlman, and Fessenden - though there's not enough Scrimm.
It quickly gets very silly indeed, but at least is an honestly unambitious killer of time.
