In my optnion this was a great movie. This is not going to be a feel good movie. Do you want to change the fact he died at 29? The performances were great. Tom Hiddleston rises above the rest. Nobody could ever sing like Hank Willisms but kudos for his Oscar worthy performance.

Elizabeth Olsen played his wife like she has always been described, by people who knew her and her son. Hank Williams is top 5, as far as importance to American music if not world music. It is nice to see him as a human and not a god.

This movie deserves higher praises. It is an American tragedy, his life. He is still worshiped today. When I want a good story I listen to Hank or his pseudonym Luke the Drifter, rather than Shakespeare.
