Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Michael D — 12 Jul 2012
No-one does hyper-violent, sadistic revenge fantasies as good as the Koreans. This blood bath is utterly ridiculous and lacking in any attempt at psychological depth whatsover but it's still hugely entertaining, if you can use such a word, thanks to the imperious Min-sik Choi who gives a masterful performance as the psycho serial-killing motherfucker from hell.
Not much to see here except OTT violence, cannibalism, deranged torture sequences and gratuitous shitting scenes.
