Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Madmonk — 24 Mar 2011

The violence is raw and shocking, even too much at times. However, the plot is full of coincidences and happenstance that take away from the premise of one becoming a monster to hunt another. The worst offense is the misogynistic nature of the story in which all the women are useless and powerless against anything that happened to them.

They exist in the movie merely as fodders and victims.
