Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Nina L — 19 Jul 2011
Not to see on a Sunday evening. Outrageously violent but it feels good: perfect to unwind your smothered feelings on a rude flight attendant or a hip night club's bouncer who banned you from the club.
The revenge of the main hero whose pregnant wife had been beheaded and cut in several pieces by a "quite mean murderer" is delightful. You really want him to hit to death this animal, and you tend to encourage him when he does so, with an iron bar, 30 times for 5 minutes.
Unfortunately, the evil is stronger than what he thought and his cannibal friends who seam to really enjoy bloody human flesh are very resourceful. My only regret is that it's a bit too long (2:22) and you feel a bit obnoxious after this violent performance.
