Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Winnerdoggy A — 04 Aug 2011
I have become very attached to Korean filmmaking; there is something very fresh and unique to many films coming from this country, and the director Ji-woon Kim stands well with this film. As advertised this is a very violent film, but unlike the US counterparts, other than the original Texas Chain Saw, this film takes the viewer through multiple twists and turns that one wouldn't expect.
For those who want to see this type of film you will be in for a well worthwhile experience. The acting done by Choi Min-sik is remarkable; the cinematography and storyline are intriguing, and original.
