Nobody does revenge dramas better and bloodier than the Koreans. While its no Oldboy, I Saw the Devil is an unrelentingly brutal film digging into the minds of a serial killer and a man hunting him seeking vengeance for his girlfriend's death.
Boasting of stand-out performances from it's leading men and featuring splendid cinematography and music, this film is a testimonial to the brilliance of Korean cinema.
