Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Malachi R — 17 Dec 2012
Another South-Korean revenge themed ultraviolent movie in which a serial killer chooses the wrong victim as soon he himself is hunted by the grieving police officer husband. Min-sik Choi frim Old Boy is the killer and gives a good performance as does Lee as the husband.
If you can stomach the pitch black humour and violent acts shown in their gruesome glory you'll get a strong revenge thriller which ares to ask what really is the cost of pay back unlike the many Hollywood counterparts in which everything is well after the "bad guy" is dead.
