Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Robert R — 18 Jan 2013
Pretty uneven and contrived, but there is just enough shocking imagery and unique camera angles to recommend it. The plot is a little silly and the main characters seem to live in their own isolated worlds in between incidents, which is a little hard to swallow.
The film also suffers from genre confusion where for the first hour and twenty it is a straight up horror/revenge movie, then it becomes an action movie and loses it's way.
