Brutally violent, controversial, exploitive, and subjects viewers into one of the darkest, unsettling environments dealing with sexual harassment and rape, misogynist violence, cannibalism, and the pyschology of a psychopath as well as another man's obsession with revenge and rejection of sanity, I Saw the Devil is a shocking, thought provoking Korean horror that's both a technical and conceptual achievement.
