Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Waleed A — 30 Nov 2013
Even though the movie is sick, with films like this and Antichrist, this is how an Art House film should be done. The story is about an innocent woman who is killed on a snowy night by a serial killer who is the embodiment of pure evil.
The woman's head is found in the lake and is the daughter of a retired police chief and the pregnant fiancee of special agent Soo-hyun played by Byung-hun Lee. Obsessed with revenge, Soo-hyun decides to track down the killer and everyone that works for him no matter what the cost.
This movie is amazing. It's bloody, it's evil, it's brutal, it's vengeful all from the heart and it has the most devilish theme you will come across in a horror movie from recent years.
I Saw The Devil gets a 9.8/10.
