Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Manjish A — 07 Jul 2014
This is an awesome film and one of the best I saw in 2011. It's creepy, raw, shocking, dark, twisted... I'm out of adjectives. I really didn't expect much from this, so it was a pleasant surprise, to say the least.
It contains the best film maniac I've seen since Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men; the same actor who was brilliant in Old Boy, Min- sik Choi. This is a wonderfully acted revenge film which is guaranteed to leave an impression.
It's probably the best film in the genre since the Kill Bill movies. Be warned though, it's not for the faint of heart; there are quite a few gruesome scenes in this film. Regardless, do yourself a favor and see this as it's not to be missed!
