Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Jim S — 07 May 2015
Technically this film is very good, with excellent cinematography, music, direction and acting. However, the brutality of the violence is...overwhelming...which sort of turns it into a fancy version of torture porn.
While I can recommend this terrifying journey into the hearts and minds of tortured souls, you have to have a very strong stomach. If it was ever to be remade by an American, I would volunteer Tarantino.
