I, Robot is flawed and had the potential to be a much better film, but it is a great absent-minded action flick with an interesting premise. The mindless thrills, techno talk, and catchy visual effects are worth a watch.

Perhaps the most intriguing characters in the film are Sonny the robot and his robot colleagues, who do more for the film than Will Smith. Overall, an entertaining action flick that doesn't hurt to watch but doesn't inspire either.

Makes for a good movie night; rent it, don't buy it.
