Review of I, Robot (2004) by Dann M — 28 Jun 2015
Based on the works of Isaac Asimov, I, Robot is a smart and provocative science-fiction thriller. The story follows Det. Spooner as he investigates the death of USR's top robotics engineer, and comes to suspect that a rogue robot prototype could be responsible.
Starring Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Chi McBride, and Bruce Greenwood, the film features a strong cast. Additionally, the special effects are especially well-done, and depict an extraordinary futuristic vision.
The score is also rather impressive, and adds a lot of energy and excitement to the film. Though it follows a lot of typical sci-fi tropes, I, Robot is an incredibly entertaining action film.
