The film gently pushes scientific / atheistic viewers to think about faith and forces the spiritual / religious to ponder the idea of randomness and evolution. The result is a compelling drama with a lot to say and with heavy science fiction undertones.
Its very engaging and will have you rethinking the possibility of reincarnation, even if the ends don't all tie together as neatly as possible.
