I agree with what my friend Jeff said in his review of this film. I am a supporter of the gay and lesbian community and I, too, believed there were some honestly good intentions and an overall simple, but sweet, message being conveyed here.

However, the cheap laughs were entirely too heavy-handed and Chuck's jokes about Larry's dead wife really made him seem more insensitive than I think they were shooting for, which means that someone behind this thought that those jokes would be funny to the people watching the movie.

That bothers me. Plus, these movies are cool for a night with friends, but they really don't stretch any farther than that. "This isn't really my scene.".
